Just as the two-month madness of the World Series Of Poker is finally reaching it's zenith, Harrah's Entertainment would already like you to begin planning for you're exciting trip to ... EUROPE! - that following the announcement of the dates for the 2008 World Series Of Poker Europe (WSOPE). The WSOPE, Presented by betfair.com, is set to roll in mid-September with a number of new preliminary and non-bracelet events that will and run into early October.

Then it is time for the four bracelet events. The stakes are high for these events to be sure - with the dollar being worth about half a York Peppermint Patty wrapper, 99% of the pros will be heading to London for a chance at millions in prize money. The stakes are even HIGHER for one Phillip Charlemagne Ivey Esquire, who has been rumored to have quite a bit more money than the WSOPE prize pool riding on his last few tries to get himself his prop-bet-winning bracelet. Phil was overheard "really dreading to go have to grinding out a livin' at dice," if he leaves London without a win.

The Bracelet Events are as follows (all buy-ins in EUROS, to convert to US dollars, subtract 100%):

- ?1,500 No-Limit Hold'em (9/19)
- ?2,500 H.O.R.S.E (9/22)
- ?5,000 Pot Limit Omaha (9/24)
- ?10,000 World Championship No-Limit Hold'em

As Jeffrey Pollack told PokerNews in an interview at the inception of the WSOPE - "A bracelet is a bracelet is a bracelet." Whew, good news for Ivey; now all he has to do is go win one out of four tournaments with some of the most concentrated brutal fields of the entire year ... clear favorite.

All the events in this years WSOPE are once again scheduled to take place in London, England, at a variety of London Club International casinos, where portions will for the first time ever be televised and broadcast globally on ESPN.
