WASSUP '08: Main Event Day 1c, The Biggest Day So Far
July 7, 2021
1,928 players signed up to play on Day 1c of the World Series Of Poker Main Event, by far the most players of the previous Day 1s. With so many players in one day, it's not surprising that there were a staggering amount of pros in attendance, including Max Pescatori, Huck Seed, T.J. Cloutier, Larry Flynt, Sammy Farha, Kirk Morrison, Tony G, and PokerRoad's Jeff Madsen.

Of those previously listed, only Madsen survived, but he was by no means the only well known pro to do so. Former WSOP Main Event Champion Chris Moneymaker also made the cut along with Bill Chen, Sorel Mizzi, Clonie Gowen, Brad Booth, Isabelle Mercier, Nenad Medic, Liz Lieu, Brian Townsend, Joe Hachem, David Singer, Eric "Rizen" Lynch, and Mike "The Mouth" Matusow.

By the end of Day 1c the staggering 1,928 players were whittled down to a more manageable 1,026, all of whom will now wait to meet up with the survivors of Day 1d, as they continue their quest for poker immortality.
