The money bubble of the 2008 WSOP Main Event was reached sometime just after midnight last night. The bubble of this tournament is unlike any other tournament of the year due to the number of participants that satellite into the event, and therefore stand to make a large payday relative to their buy-in (some players got into this event for a few hundred or even a few single dollars).

The minimum payout was $21,230 and our bubble boy, Steve Chung, ended up one spot short of that - he was however compensated with a buy-in to next year's Main Event courtesy of Milwaukee's Best Light.

The chip leader entering the day will be Jeremy Joseph with 1,458,000.
