Dennis Phillips takes the chip lead into day 6 as the final 27 players will be fighting for a spot amongst the elustrious "November Nine" (as the WSOP has taken to calling them), and all the added sponsorships, media time, and other incentives that come along with November Nine membership.

Many fans were disappointed when they're hopes of a Matusow/Hellmuth final table were put to rest with the elimination of Hellmuth towards the middle of play in day 5. Matusow unfortunately followed him out the door very late in the day, finishing in 30th place.

Today they will play down to the final table, and the November Nine experiment will commence.
