Bellagio Cup IV - Day 3
July 16, 2021
While most of the eyes of the poker community were on watching the WSOP be whittled down to a rather mundane group of players that will make up the "November Nine," the best of the best were down the street at Bellagio slinging chips in what will hopefully be the premiere episode of the next season of the World Poker Tour.

This $15k buy-in tournament started players with 45,000 in chips, which provided enough maneuvering for some top names to rise to the top. Mike Watson, known as "SirWatts" in the online community, currently has the chiplead going into day 4. Day 4 will see the final 32 players play down to the TV final table of 6.

David Pham (big surprise) is just behind Watson in second place, and proven tournament vets Ralph Perry, Hevad Khan, Glen Chorny, John Gale, David Benyamine, Ted Forrest, John Phan, and PokerRoad Papabear Barry Greenstein are still vying for a spot at the first final table of the World Poker Tour's 7th season.
