Unionized Dealers Demand Recognition
July 23, 2021
The United Auto Workers (UAW) Union, which now interestingly represents the table-games dealers of Foxwoods, have filed a formal complaint against the Mashantucket Pequot tribe, demanding they accept them as the casino dealers' representatives and begin negotiating with them in good faith.

The UAW began fighting for the card tossers of Connecticut late last year following a 1,259-to-892 vote in favor of unionization, yet Foxwoods has to date still not accepted the results of this vote. The Mashantucket Pequot have filed numerous appeals, all of which were summarily dismissed, yet the Pequot still won't "deal" with the union, planning instead to take their case all the way to the US Court of Appeals if necessary.
