Canadian Players Being Hassled By The Man
July 28, 2021
Toronto police officers raided more private poker games recently, charging over 50 participants from four separate locations with either keeping a common gaming house or being found playing in one. From the raids, Toronto police obtained over $12,000 in cash from the players and $23,000 in gambling equipment. All the raids took place in commercial locations, in sports bars and industrial units.

This series of raids follows an earlier series which took place in November of last year. At that time, police charged over 60 individuals with assorted gambling violations.
