National Deaf Poker Tour Wraps Up Another Successful Season
July 28, 2021
Last weekend at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, the National Deaf Poker Tour (NDPT) ran it's last four events of it's 2007-2008 season. The final event of the season, the $200 buy-in deaf-only main event, saw 136 players generate a prize pool worth $20,672. However, the National Deaf Poker Tour really isn't all about the money, as founding member James Rydstrom said, it's more about giving their players the opportunity to play "where there are no barriers of communication."

Since it's conception in 2006, the National Deaf Poker Tour has grown in size every year and 2008 looks to be no different. Along with the regular NDPT stops, the 2008-2009 schedule will now also include stops at Foxwoods in Connecticut and at the Majestic Star Casino in Indiana.
