Absolute Poker, Ultimate Bet, 60 Minutes, two-plus-two - there's probably never been a more difficult time to be the group in charge of regulating online poker. Perhaps this is why Kahnawake Gaming Commission has decided to bring in some serious help.

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) recently released an official statement where by they announced the appointment of Frank Catania as a special independent monitor in charge of investigating Tokwiro Enterprises, the parent company of Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet.

Mr. Catania will lead a monitoring team that will conduct interviews, a full investigation, and an audit of these sites, before compiling a report for KGC. KGC will then use this information to make it's ultimate ruling.

Frank Catania is not new to this kind of work. Having served time as both the Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement and as the Vice President in charge of compliance for Players International, Inc., Frank has built up an impressive resume and has proven himself trustworthy and capable. Tokwiro Enterprises has agreed to fully comply with Frank Catania's investigation.
