PokerStars, the world's largest online poker site, once again was able to reach its million dollar guarantee last Sunday, when its "Sunday Million" tournament had over 8,000 players sign up to play.

Given PokerStars' impressive size, this wasn't that unusual; however, the fact that they reached a million dollar guarantee twice in two tournaments, certainly was. The other tournament to reach the million dollar mark was the earlier "Sunday Warm-Up," an event which usually has a $500,000 guarantee. That usual half-million prize pool easily doubled on Sunday, when PokerStars decided to allow a single rebuy in the popular event for a special promotion they were running. Over 1,500 players chose to utilize this single rebuy option.
