A poker player in Gzira was recently robbed at knife point when he followed a strange beckoning women into a room after winning $500 at a local casino.

The player, James Mercieca, didn't seem to question why the unknown women wanted to lead him to her room or why a second women, waiting in the room, also wanted to get involved in the action. However, the obvious reason became apparent after he took off his pants - a man with a large knife suddenly appeared and helped the women relieve James of most of his winnings. The three individuals left Mercieca with only $40, plus a valuable life lesson.
