It was another great Sunday to own a piece of an online poker site, as both FullTilt Poker and PokerStars easily surpassed their guarantees for all their Marquee events. FullTilt Poker's $750,000 Guarantee saw 3,843 players sign in to create a total prize pool worth $768,600. This $200+ 16 buy-in tournament paid out 522 places, with first place winner "HosniMubarak" walking away with the lions share, $136,080.63.

The PokerStars Sunday Million (which actually now guarantees $1.5M) saw 8,431 players sign up to play, creating a total prize pool of $1,686,200 and a first place prize which could potentially pay $204,198.82 (assuming no deal was made). First went to "Fred_Brink" of Copenhagen, followed by "betofetus" in second and "RProps" in third.

Friend of PokerRoad, Mark Herm (a.k.a. "dipthrong," "SHIPP ITT"), also had a pretty good Sunday, taking first in the PokerStars $250,000 guaranteed (a deal was made three-handed, and the players played out for the title). Before this win, Herm was currently ranked 31st on PocketFives.com and 27th in online rankings at CardPlayer.com. This is his third big Sunday win in the last 30 days including FullTilt Poker's $750,000 Guarantee ($147,382- 7/31/08) and FullTilt's "The Sunday Mulligan" ($44,436- 7/6/08).
