Historic Tuesday At The FTOPS
August 14, 2021
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series IX ran two events on Tuesday: the $500+35 HORSE event and the $200+16 No-Limit Hold 'em Turbo. Remarkably though, Full Tilt only had to crown one champion that day, because the SAME PLAYER won them BOTH.

Yuval "yuvee04" Bronshtein proved his scary online dominance Tuesday by crushing both events simultaneously, earning his second and third FTOPS titles to go with his first from a previous series. This remarkable accomplishment nearly dwarfs the $172,387.50 ($70,412.50 + $101,975.00) which he earned in the two events and is sure to get him even more respect in the online community than he already had (and he already had quite a bit).

Event #14 of the FTOPS saw 655 players pony up $535 in an attempt to get a piece of the $300,000 guaranteed prize pool (a guarantee that was surpassed by $27,500). The event was hosted by Full Tilt pro Jens Voertmann and was almost won by online player "spadez67", who instead came away with second place money worth $48,470.

Event #15, the No-Limit Hold 'em Turbo event, hosted by poker author and turbo tournament specialist Michael Craig, saw 3,472 contestants sign up to play. The event had a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000, $66,000 of which was taken by "ANIMAL5050" for being the last one bested by "yuvee04".
