After a successful inaugural season, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour is set to begin again in Macau and run September 1st through the 9th, 2008. Not to be confused with the Asian Poker Tour which begins in Macau, August 27th through the 31st, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour is sponsored by PokerStars and is currently running numerous main event qualifiers, including a 20 seat guaranteed qualifier on Saturday, August 23rd.

Last year's first season of the APPT had four successful stops and awarded millions in cash, and this season promises to be even bigger with five stops all throughout Asia. The Macau APPT main event already has many big name pros scheduled to play including Joe Hachem, Men Nguyen, Mel Judah, Lee Nelson, Johnny Chan, Mike "Timex" McDonald, Scotty Nguyen and PokerRoad's own Barry "The Bear" Greenstein.
