Day 2 At The Bike
August 26, 2021
Day 2 of the World Poker Tour's Legends of Poker started with 248 players, a large percentage of which were tournament pros. Just a short list of those still in the hunt at the start of the day would have to include Daniel Negreanu, Chad Brown, Phil Laak, Greg Mueller, Eric Seidel, Tuan Le, Antonio Esfandiari, and last year's champion "Action" Dan Harrington. Unfortunately Harrington, like many others, didn't survive the day so a new champion for this year's Legends is guaranteed.

Day 2 lasted over ten hours (with no dinner break) and in that time many worthy players followed Harrington to the rail, including Kristy Gazes, John Hennigan, Chad Brown, Freddy Deeb, Kenna James, Men Nguyen, and PokerRoad Radio's Gavin "The Caveman" Smith. Along with Gavin, PokerRoad also felt the sting of losing Allen "The Chainsaw" Kessler, leaving seemingly few left to carry the PokerRoad banner.

Luckily, as is often the case, Barry Greenstein is still alive and well, with not many chips but undeniable heart. To pull this one off, Barry will have to outlast the likes of Gabe Kaplan, Max Pescatori, Mark Seif, Erick Lindgren, Allen Cunningham, Raymond Davis, and a very short stacked Daniel Negreanu, along with 71 other highly talented individuals.
