Day 1c APPT
September 4, 2021
The final Day 1 of the PokerStars.com Asian Pacific Poker Tour had the most players register yet. 229 people signed up to play on Day 1c, meaning altogether the event gathered 538 players to create a total prize pool worth $1,620,000 and a first prize worth $453,851.

Day 1c saw many top players take to the felt, including Joe Hachem, J.C. Tran, Lee Nelson, J.J. Liu, Men and Van Nguyen, David Chiu, Isabelle Mercier, and John Phan. Phan has had an amazing summer, but it seems his tournament rush (which included two WSOP bracelets and a WPT victory) may finally have come to an end, as he busted early before the end of the difficult Day 1. Joining Phan on the rail were J.C. Tran, Tony Hachem (Joe's brother), and Hevad Khan, along with 137 other unlucky players.

By the end of the day only 88 players remained. Notable eliminations included Quinn Do, Terrance Chan, David Chiu, Isabelle Mercier and Lee Nelson.
