The first stop of season five's European Poker Tour ended this weekend, with Sebastian Ruthenberg claiming victory over a tough final table that held, among others, former EPT San Remo champion Jason Mercier and WSOP bracelet winner Davidi Kitai. Ruthenberg earned EUR1,361,000 (about $1,920,000 USD) for taking down the EPT Barcelona Open and added a new title to an already impressive list of poker accomplishments, that includes a WSOP bracelet and a previous EPT Final Table.

The official finish positions for the final table of the EPT Barcelona Open were as follows:

3rd. Davidi Kitai- EUR455,000
