Borgata Poker Open, Two Days Of Play
September 16, 2021
The World Poker Tour's Borgata Poker Open, began over the weekend with 516 players shooting for a chunk of a $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool, but after two intense days of play that field is now down to only 68.

The pro-to-amatuer ratio of this year's Borgata was once again high, with an impressive number of seasoned professionals choosing to take a shot at the popular Atlantic City event, including David Pham, Jamie Gold, Nick Schulman, Haralabos Voulgaris, Kristy Gazes, Gavin Smith, Ted Forrest, John Phan, David "Chino" Rheem, Robert Mizrachi, Justin Bonomo, Michael Binger, Steve Dannenmann, Brandon Cantu and Eugene Todd "Bro." Obviously, with the field at basically a tenth of what is was, many of these pros did not survive to see Day 3, yet surprisingly there are quite a few recognizable faces still in the hunt, like Mark Seif, Chris Bell, Cliff Josephy, Tiffany Michelle, Thayer Rasmussen, Vinh Nguyen, Binger, Cantu, Forrest and PokerRoad's Joe Sebok.
