The third day of the World Poker Tour Borgata Poker Open saw many quality players hit the rail, as it further pruned the field from 68 to 27. A short list of the Day's casualties would have to include Joe Sebok, Robert Mizrachi, Jonathan Little, Lee Markholt, Nick Schulman, Cliff Josephy, and Brandon Cantu. Today's Day 4 should continue the carnage and is scheduled to play until the WPT TV final table (final 6 players) is set.

As seems to always be the case during the Borgata Poker Open, there are still quite a few big name pros in contention even at this late stage, each one now in the money and tantalizingly close to a WPT title. Today's action will involve Ted Forrest, Nam Le, Mark Seif, Dan Heimiller, Thayer Rasmussen, Michael Binger, Chris Bell, Vinh Nguyen, and Steve Dannenmann.
