A Cracker Wins APPT Auckland

New Zealand amateur Daniel Cracker took down the PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour Auckland Main Event over the weekend, netting himself $257,040 NZD (roughly $153,400 American). Cracker won a Mega-Satellite to gain entry into this event (an event which saw New Zealand's biggest ever prize pool created) for $330 (arguably one of the most successful investments on the planet as of late). Along with the cash and the title, Cracker also won a free entry into the APPT Sydney Grand Final in December.

The final table finish positions for the APPT Auckland Main Event were as follows:
