October 14, 2021
Top poker players Layne Flack, Maria Ho, Lacey Jones, and PokerRoad's Jeff Madsen attended the 2008 SuperCross Nationals this last weekend, in order to continue to raise awareness towards the importance of helping these impressive riders after they sustain career ending injuries. The pros decided to attend the event after participating in the highly successful Fourth Annual Road 2 Recovery Celebrity Poker Tournament presented by Toyota Trucks.

The tournament, which was held at the MGM Grand, saw 67 players donate $300 each and purchase 160 $100 rebuys. A short list of well known players also in attendance would include Jamie Gold, Robert Williamson III, Hoyt Corkins, Todd Brunson, Marco Traniello, Brandon Cantu and Karina & Chip Jett.

Tiffany Michelle won the tournament, which earned her a Curtis and Co. "World" model sports watch; a 22lb crystal trophy; and a seat into the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event. Michelle, who had a very deep run in this years WSOP event, was so moved by the important cause that she promised to donate 5% of anything she won in the event back to Road 2 Recovery.
