Caesars Palace Classic Main Event

After 16 exciting preliminary events that attracted top poker players from around the country (not to mention the occasional olympic gold medalist), the Caesars Palace Classic Main Event is finally set to roll today, October 28th, at high noon in Vegas.

The $10,000 buy-in CPC Main Event is a 3 day tournament with a guaranteed first prize of at least $1 million. Players will start the event with 100,000 in tournament chips and blind levels that begin at 100/200. Each blind level in the CPC Main Event will be 90 minutes long.

Last year this event attracted 287 players including such well known pros as Michael Mizrachi, Lee Watkinson, "Captain" Tom Franklin, Jimmy Tran, Justin Bonomo, and Vivek "FLOG" Rajkumar. The winner of the event, Full Tilt Pro David Singer beat a formidable final table and earned himself $1,000,000 in the process- after Caesars kicked in $126,967 to the prize pool in order to reach the posted guarantee.
