Annette Leads The Field In Budapest
October 29, 2021
The first day one of the 2008 European Poker Tour Budapest stop saw 262 players sign up to compete in Hungary's first ever official EPT event. About one third of that field (88 players) survived the difficult day and will now push on to Day 2.

Leading the pack of Day 1a survivors was none other than former WSOP-E Main Event Champion Annette Obrestad, who found herself ending the day with 101,300 in tournament chips. Other notable survivors from Day 1a include Sorel Mizzi (74,950), Luca Pagano (23,500) and EPT Season 4 Prague winner Arnaud Mattern (90,600).
