In an unprecedented feat, the host of the FTOPS Event #9, Erick Lindgren, has won the event he hosted. Erick Lindgren beat an amazing field of 5,637 players to win the $291,748.57 first prize.

Each event in the 7th Full Tilt Online Poker Series is officially hosted by a Full Tilt sponsored pro, but never before has one of these hosts come away with a victory in his event. An accomplishment made even more amazing given that the million dollar guaranteed event easily eclipsed it's guarantee by $691,100.
