Zynga, a social gaming network, recently announced they are releasing a Texas Hold 'em game for Apple's popular iPhone. The new game called "Live Poker" will allow mobile players to compete with the 1.4 million daily players that visit the Zynga site, whether they're sitting at home, on the bus, or pretending to listen to a presentation at work.

Zynga's, "Live Poker" is free in a slightly limited form and is also available for $9.99 in an upgraded form with more bells and whistles. This new game is for play money only, but given this technology now obviously exists, one has to wonder whether a portable PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker will soon be on the way.
