Minieri And Mattern Headline EPT Warsaw Final
November 19, 2021
After three exciting days of poker in Poland, that saw over 200 top players reduced down to nine, the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour Warsaw Main Event final table is set.

Day 3 in Warsaw started with only 24 players but within that number sat some of the best in the game including Roland De Wolfe, Isabelle Mercier, Arnaud Mattern and Dario Minieri. The unpredictable day saw both De Wolfe and Mercier hit the rail despite Roland starting the day with a top ten stack and a real opportunity to earn his second EPT title. Roland instead had to settle for 13th place (EUR14,076), falling shortly after Isabelle bowed out in 16th (EUR10,557).

Dario Minieri and Arnaud Mattern fared much better. Both survived the fast paced day but Minieri went one better and ended it as the chip leader. Minieri will enter the final table with 359,500 in tournament chips, 100,000 more than the average at the table.

The current chip counts for the 2008 EPT Warsaw are as follows:

Dario Minieri- 359,000
Sergey Shcherbatskiy- 349,000
Nico Behling- 343,500
Arnaud Mattern- 328,000
Ludovic Lacay- 296,500
AVERAGE
Atanas Gueorguiev- 186,500
Joao Barbosa- 123,000
Andrea Benelli- 100,000
Michael Muheim- 89,000
