The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (presented by PokerStars.net) is back in action again, and already over 400 players have signed up to play. This large, multi-day starting field should guarantee a first prize worth more than AUD $1,000,000 and a total prize pool worth nearly $2.5 million.

108 registrants chose to play on Day 1a including numerous top pros like Chad Brown, David Saab, Vanessa Rousso, and Celina Lin. Unfortunately, none of these four survived the difficult day which saw only 48 players successfully navigate the tough starting field.

Day 1b will begin today with a whole new list of poker celebrities attempting to make the money including Terrence Chan, Billy "The Croc" Argyros, Tony Hachem, Eric Assadourian, and Lee "Final Table" Nelson.
