CEREUS Pulls Out Of Kentucky
December 3, 2021
Tokwiro Enterprises, owner of Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker, have announced they will no longer be servicing players in Kentucky.

Tokwiro chose this course presumably after an unfavorable court ruling in Kentucky opened the real possibility of having their numerous domain names seized if they did not choose to comply with the Kentucky court's wishes and install software to block Kentucky residents from accessing their sites.

Once Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet banded together to create the CEREUS poker network, they instantly became the third largest poker site to service US players. Such a large virtual poker room will sorely be missed by Kentucky players who are still smarting from the earlier loss of Cake Poker, Microgaming and the Merge Gaming Network. At the moment these players can still play on the two biggest online poker sites, Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars, however if this trend continues, who knows how long that option will still be available.

If you're from Kentucky, some other state in the nation, or really anywhere in the Universe where you can read this:
