PokerStars Pro Vanessa "Lady Maverick" Rousso beat out ten top players yesterday during the Asia Pacific Poker Tour's charity invitational event - the APPT Tournament of Champions. For the victory, Rousso earned AUD $45,000 for her new charity, the No Limit No Profit Initiative.

The runner-up in the event was Martin Rowe, who earned $5,000 for his charity, Save The Children,. Rowe can probably use the tax deduction having just won $1,000,000 Australian dollars a day before by taking down the APPT Sydney Grand Final.

Other invited players for the APPT Tournament of Champions included Chad Brown, Eric Assadourian, Eddy Sabat, Grant Levy, Daniel Craker, Lee Nelson, Van Marcus and Joe Hachem.
