Day 1a of the European Poker Tour Prague Main Event saw a group of over 250 players invest EUR5,000 + EUR250 each for their chance at EPT glory. Many notable players were in attendance including Michael Martin, Arnaud Mattern, Luca Pagano, Johnny Lodden, Trond Eidsvig, and Gus Hansen.

With the near capacity Day 1A and an even bigger crowd expected for tomorrow, the total prize pool in Prague is expected to swell to nearly EUR3,000,000 (or about $4,000,000 USD).

Hansen, always a crowd favorite, will unfortunately not be seeing any of that, having already busted before the end of the difficult first day.
