Poker Prowess In Prague; EPT Day 1b
December 10, 2021
Day 1b of the European Poker Tour Prague Main Event (sponsored by PokerStars), drew an even larger crowd than Day 1a as expected. 298 players signed up for the second Day 1 flight including such poker luminaries as Dario Minieri, William Thorson, Juha Helppi, Mike McDonald, Noah Boeken, and WSOP Main Event Champion Peter Eastgate.

Add those 298 entrants to yesterday's 272, and we have a total field of 570 players, creating a prize pool worth EUR2,764,500 and a first prize worth EUR774,000 (or about $1,010,000 American). 56 of those players will make the money, while the rest will hit the rail empty handed, where they can take solace in knowing they have joined some very prestigious company.

Already Day 1b has seen the demise of Pascal Perrault, Alex Kravchenko, Katja Thater, Roland de Wolfe, and the aforementioned World Champion Peter Eastgate.
