Another Big Sunday At PokerStars And FullTilt

Both PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker saw big numbers on Sunday for their tent-pole events, but only PokerStars was able to avoid kicking in for an overlay. 

The PokerStars Sunday Million (which actually guarantees $1.5 million) had 7,549 entrants and a final prize pool worth nearly $10 grand more than promised.   

The event was taken down by online player “opis/sp” for $152,006.84, after agreeing to a deal once the event became three handed. 

The Final Table finish positions for the PokerStars Sunday Million were as follows:

5th.  Eeedz- $54,352.80

*amounts reflect three-way chop of all but $30,000 

3,485 players entered Full TIlt Poker’s big Sunday event, creating a prize pool just below the $750,000 posted guarantee.  This meant Full Tilt Poker was obligated to gift those entrants with an additional $53,000 in juicy prize pool overlay.

The winner of the Full TIlt Poker $750,000 Guarantee was online player “dudetronic,” who earned $132,787.50 for the victory.
