Sweden's own Fredric Ollsen has won the Sinai Grand Event, the first major poker tournament ever held in Egypt. Ollsen and 52 other players ponied up EUR500 each to compete for the EUR7,000 first place prize. Interestingly enough, the entire field for the Sinai Grand Event was made up of non-Egyptian citizens as it is apparently against the law for Egyptians to gamble in Egyptian casinos. The two day event ended when runner-up Valadis Muizicka moved all in with 5-4 offsuit only to run into Ollsen's pocket tens.
