Venetian Continues Its Deep Stack Winning Formula
January 8, 2022
The Venetian in Las Vegas had a great poker year in 2008, thanks in large part to their now famous "Deep Stack Extravaganza" series - a mid-level buy-in series of deep stack tournaments (ranging between $330 and $2,500 buy-ins) which most poker players in Vegas just couldn't get enough of.

Originally the Deep Stack Extravaganza (DSE) was thought to be a once a year occurrence; however, the popularity of the DSEs eventually forced the Venetian to add more and more installments, including four recently announced series' for 2009.

The first of the four DSEs of 2009 is set to begin February 2nd and will run through February 25th, as always ending with a larger buy-in, Main Event tournament, that begins on the 23rd. After that, similar DSE series will run in April (4/1-4/26), June/July (6/1-7/15) and November (11/1-11/25).
