Final Table Set For PCA High Rollers
January 8, 2022

It must be interesting being a high stakes tournament pro.  A $10,000 buy-in event going on just across the way, but your not in it.  You're waiting for the pricey tournament to start.

48 of poker’s elite players found themselves in that unique position yesterday as they prepared to play in the European Poker Tour PokerStars Caribbean Adventure “High Rollers” event.  This $25,000 buy-in tournament attracted the absolute cream of the poker playing crop including such luminaries as Antonio Esfandiari, Sorel Mizzi, Joe Hachem, Denis Phillips, Ivan Demidov, Bill Edler, Gus Hansen, Eric Seidel, Josh Arieh and “All Strategy’s” Daniel Negreanu.

Of those top 48 players, only eight could make the money and despite the aggregate talent of the above listed group, none of the previously mentioned stars were able to hang on long enough to assure themselves a piece of the $1,140,000 prize pool.

Bill “The Stunning One” Edler came the closest, lasting all the way to the bubble, but unfortunately after fifteen hours of play he too was forced to leave the table empty handed.  With Edler’s elimination we were officially down to eight equally impressive players, each eager to win this prestigious high stakes event and claim a top prize worth  $433,500.

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 High Roller Final table consists of:

Humberto Brenes- 423,500
Scott Seiver- 449,500
Nick Schulman- 99,500
