Aussie Day 3 Finished, Along With Many Pros
January 22, 2022
The third day of play at the Aussie Millions Main Event saw a starting field of 80-some players slowly reduced down to a lean 28. The difficult day spelled the end to many beloved pros, while rewarding others with guaranteed cash once the money bubble had been breached at 64.

A list of players who made Day 3 their last includes Patrik Antonius, Scotty Nguyen, Michael "Timex" Mcdonald, Joseph Hachem, Clonie Gowen, Raymond Rahme, and PokerRoad's Steve Sung - who sadly busted only about an hour before the money was reached.

The more fortunate players who survived the tough day include Sorel Mizzi, Barney Boatman, Kelly Kim, Joe Cassidy, Grant Levy, and current chip leader Michael Tureniec.

Also still in the hunt are yesterday's top two women - Annica Ivert and Annette "annette_15" Obrestad, both of whom are still solidly entrenched in the top ten.

Day 4 of the Aussie Millions Main Event is set to begin tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. Australia time, or today at 5:30 p.m. PST for those of us still on this side of the pond. For updates, photos, and chip counts straight from the event visit www.pokernews.com.
