APT Philippines By The Numbers
January 30, 2022
Both Day 1 heats of the Asian Poker Tour Philippines Main Event have concluded, thanks to a tough Day 1b that took place while most of us were sleeping, and now it appears we officially know what these valiant men and women are fighting for.

187 players entered Day 1b of the APT Philippines, 112 more than Day 1a. That means in total 262 players, one way or another, put up the $2,500 + $200 entry fee, creating a total prize pool of $635,500 USD. First prize for the event will be nearly $200 grand ($185,000), with the other $450,500 distributed among the 26 other players lucky enough to make the money.

69 players are still in the hunt for that money after the day ones including Liz Lieu, Casey Kastle, Nam Le, David "Chino" Rheem, PokerRoad blogger Steve Sung and last year's champion David Saab.
