Last week, PokerStars announced a bonus tournament that could only be entered using Frequent Player Points. This alone may not seem newsworthy, however, the prize pool for the event was two million dollars.

It was a truly unusual offer from PokerStars.com and one that 9,600 players decided to take advantage of. PokerStars decided to flatten the pay out structure for the event, so the top 4,000 players made the money, and even given this, first prize paid a cool $200,000.

No deal was made throughout the entire final table meaning the winner, mombasi, took down the whole 200 grand.
