Third Season Of Poker After Dark, Without Shana
December 20, 2021
The third season of Poker After Dark will begin on December 31st. It should be pretty much the same show, 6 players, $20 grand each, Ali Nejad, wacky theme tables, but with one major difference, no Shana Hiatt! One can almost hear guys crying at their computers all over the world.

Shana will be replaced by the \"Poker Princess,\" which is the nickname NBC has given Argentina-born, Marianela.

Despite the loss of Shana, the upcoming episodes sound very entertaining, with some interesting themes like Hecklers week, with Sam Grizzle, Phil Hellmuth and Gavin Smith (to name just three). International week, with players like Patrik Antonius and Johnny Chan. Even a week entitled, Gus and the Ladies, with, well, you can probably figure it out.

Marianela has some pretty big shoes to fill to say the least, but with so many talented players and interesting themes, not to mention $120,000 on the line every week, she may just be able to pull it off.
