2004 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Greg Raymer is headed to Chandle,  Arizona this weekend along with PokerRoad Radio’s Gavin Smith, to compete in and co-host The Legends of Basketball Par and Poker Celebrity Challenge for Charity. 

This inaugural NBA Legends tournament will include an 18-hole golf tournament as well as a No Limit Hold ‘em poker tournament, each expected to attract numerous Hall of Fame athletes, Hollywood celebrities, and other poker professionals.  Prizes for the poker tournament will include a cash prize pool and entries into the 2009 WSOP Main Event.  Both tournaments are open to the public. 

"As my third Par and Poker appearance, I've enjoyed playing with poker enthusiasts and celebrities alike," says Greg Raymer. "I invite the public to join me for a great cause and good times!"

Proceeds from this event will benefit The Legends Cares Foundation and The Joyner-Walker Foundation, Incorporated (www.joynerwalkerfoundation.org) - two non-profit organizations dedicated to improving communities while helping the youth who reside in them.
