FTOPS XI Ends Strong
February 17, 2022

The Main Event of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series XI took place over the weekend, with yet another large showing that busted the posted guarantee.  5,287 players ponied-up $535 each to compete in the FTOPS Main Event, including most if not all of the "red" Full Tilt pros.  The prize pool created by this large showing shot all the way up to $2,643,500.

The winner of the event was well-known live/online pro Adam "csimmsux" Geyer, who knocked out online player "KA1SERfknS0ZE" in a dramatic final hand, getting all his money in with top pair. "KA1SERfknS0ZE" was hoping to complete an open ended straight draw but his hand, unlike Geyer's, never seemed to improve.  The final river card of the tournament made Geyer an unnecessary boat, and like that, KA1SERfknS0ZE was gone.

For the victory, Adam Geyer earned $456,056.62 (nearly a thousand times what he bought in for) plus the coveted gold FTOPS jersey and the biggest title of FTOPS XI.

The final table finish positions for the 2009 FTOPS XI Main Event were as follows:

1st.  Adam "csimmsux" Geyer- $456,056.62

2nd.  KA1SERfknS0ZE- $276,245.75

3rd.  PartyPimp- $177,643.20

4th.  clubflush5- $138,783.75
