EPT Copenhagen Wrap-Up
February 23, 2022

The European Poker Tour Copenhagen event, sponsored by PokerStars.com, concluded recently with a young champion from Helsinki taking the title.

The new champ, Jens Kyll?nen, beat out an impressive world-class field of 462 players to earn the first place title, a title that came with a top prize worth 6,541,920 DKK (about $1,120,000 US).  Just 19 years-old, Kyll?nen also survived a very tough Scandinavian-heavy final table that held among others Jonas "Tulkaz" Klausen, Eric Larcheveque, Petter Petersson, Rasmus Hede Nielsen and Peter Hedlund.

At his second EPT final table, Hedlund almost took down the event himself but came up just short and was forced to accept second place after an exciting heads-up battle with Kyll?nen.  For second place Hedlund earned nearly $635,000.
