The new schedule for season seven of the World Poker Tour has officially been announced. This schedule includes many of the classic events that have made the WPT so successful, with quite a few interesting omissions. For instance, many WPT Events that were less successful or conflicted with other poker tournaments have been removed, such as the Mirage Poker Showdown, The Turks and Caicos Poker Classic and the Mandalay Bay Poker Championship. The WPT seems intent on building a leaner, meaner, tour for season 7, with only 14 Events in all, but each one a proven winner for players and fans a like.
