Dortmund Day 2
March 13, 2022

When Day 2 of the European Poker Tour Dortmund main event began there were 252 hopeful players still in contention for a first prize worth more than $1,100,000. When the day concluded there were only 34 left, each already well in the money thanks to a bubble that breached earlier in the evening with the elimination of the 65th player.

It was a wild day of tournament poker that spared far too few, however there are a handful of well known players still in the hunt including Marco Noll, William Thorson, Luca Pagano and Michael "Timex" McDonald.

Day 3 of the EPT Dortmund, sponsored by PokerStars.com, has already begun and these few remaining top players will need to hang on tight if the hurricane of action on Day 2 is any indication of how things will continue as we quickly file down to Saturday's final eight.
