The highly popular Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) from Full Tilt Poker is coming back again, and once more the series only appears to have gotten bigger and better.

The twelfth edition of the FTOPS, which begins on May 6th, has a total guaranteed prize pool of $18,000,000, with 25 major tournaments and now 25 mini ones, including events in Stud, Omaha, H.E.R.O.S., Hold 'em and more.

The new MiniFTOPS events mirror the 25 regular events in nearly every way with one important difference: the buy-ins for the Minis are 1/10th the cost of their regular counterparts.  This means Full Tilt players can enjoy the excitement of the FTOPS for as little as $11 and can even compete in the Mini Main Event (with a guaranteed $500,000 prize pool) for only $50 + $5.

There are other major changes underway for FTOPS XII including special FTOPS "Challenges," that will reward prizes to players that succeed at various skill tasks during the series.
